MEET THE COACHES
Daniel Arzate
Owner & Head Coach
born and raised in Redding, CA, Daniel was first introduced to boxing at the age of 10 by a school counselor. His journey into the sport began at North Valley Boxing Academy, where he trained under Geronimo Asin Velasquez, a coach from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Immersed in "the sweet science," Daniel developed a deep love for boxing, which fueled his passion to help others. This led him to become a USA Boxing Certified Coach.
He started his coaching career in his own garage, and over the years, his efforts have grown into something much larger. Today, SBC continues to evolve, expand, and serve as a cornerstone for the youth, boxers, and the community.
